The 2012 Presidential Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6th.

It will be the 57th election in which presidential electors, who actually elect the President (not the citizens).

The Vice President is chosen on December 17, 2012.

As specified in the Constitution, the Presidential Election will coincide with the Senatorial elections where one-third (33) Senators will face election or re-election, while American Voters elect members for the 113th Congress.

Eleven gubernatorial elections, as well as many state and local offices and laws will take place on November 6th.
